In past years in world an extensive research and development work is being done to ensure information technology use in agriculture; long range wireless sensor network (WSN) creation for specific agricultural use. Existing WSN solutions are in experimental development phase; their implementations is not possible without the specific WSN technology developers’ assistance and they have a short working range (ability to guarantee communication between sensors only at a range of several tens of meters); therefore their implementation in large area is very expensive. Realistic WSN implementation is unthinkable without specific WSN technology that includes physical nodes, sensors, operating system, application programming environment, competence centre support. The paper describes new long distance RFID based technology implementation - VLIT NODE.

The resort of Saulkrasti was established in the 19th century, when the fishermen of Katrīnbāde village began renting out their houses for the summer and themselves staying in barns in the meantime. Visitors came from as far as Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In 1909, the resort town had 150 residents.

In the late 19th and early 20th century, summer cottages began sprouting up near the sea gulf. Only seldomly were construction rights given to Latvians. Over the years, the range of summer-dwellers expanded. Saulkrasti was a popular holiday resort with Latvian cultural society in the first third of the 20th century.

THE COLOGNE DECLARATION is alive document, which will be again discussed during Prague EFITA/WCCA conference. We would like ask you about active contribution. See full text on Slideshare.

The EU-funded projects FutureFarm, agriXchange and CAPIGI-network which joined together in GeoFARMatics 2010 in Cologne, Germany, from 24th-26th November 2010, recognised that agri-food and rural ICT must be an essential part of the European Digital Agenda for 2020. The process of building the Rural Knowledge Society started by the Valencia declaration helps to reduce the digital divide between rural and urban communities in Europe. However, new changes in the global food supply, growing demands on food quality and quantity, energy demands and environmental aspects introduce new demands on future knowledge management. The objective of future knowledge management should be to enable the agri-food and rural communities to react adequately to these changes. For this reason, knowledge management has to become part of the agri-food and rural production system. This requires a clear vision, which has to be based on discussions with farmers, experts, politicians and other stakeholders.

Pārgauja municipality is located in central Vidzeme. It was created quite recently – in 2009, when according the Administrative and Territorial reform it was established by merging three so far independent parishes. The name of the municipality was chosen basing on its geographical location near the river Gauja, the most picturesque river in Latvia. When you look from the beautiful town of Cēsis, the county is located beyond the Gauja River, hence the name meaning over the river Gauja.

6 most popular destinations in Alì Terme

The ancient Medieval Tower, called Saracen. Situated almost to peak in the Capo di Alì, on the side north, the Tower, from the circular structure, was built in the Middle Ages, around 1600, to tell the inhabitants of the near country of the arrival of the pirates, that still in that times were in our seas.

The Church of St. Rocco, built in 1700. After the 1908 earthquake worked as Church shelter and only in 1956 the new Church was inaugurated in masonry, widened with the sacristy and the canonical house.

Anciently in Alì Terme different Chapels existed, also a lot of of which must be destroyed. Among these we remember: the Chapel of Saint Lucy, the Chapel of Saint Maria of the Letter; the Chapel of Saint Maria of the Idria, the private Chapel of the Fred, the Chapel of Saint Maria Maggiore, the Chapel of the Madonna of the SS. Rosary, the chapel of the blessed Eustachia, the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, posts to the outside of the Female College "Maria SS. Ausiliatrice", college with a historical importance: situated next to the beach, in a position that makes it one of the most beautiful of Sicily, now turned into a school

Thermal establishments: the Thermal baths Granada Cassibile, builds in 1500 and the Thermal baths Marino, of more recent epoch, the Thermal baths Acque Grazia

Have a historical interest the different headstones posted on the external walls of the thermal establishments, that sing the purity of the waters.

The splendid beach with his crystalline waters, that make Alì Terme an important bathing center of the Sicilia.

The overall objective of the project is not only to improve teacher practice, but also to raise the awareness of teachers across Europe on the need for accurate tagging of resources.
